On Sunday I asked Roland concerning the scripture about wives should be submissive to their husbands.

I asked to what extent is it that the wives have to submit themselves.

"Everything"

*jaws dropped*

Yes, everything. To the extent of unconditional love just like what Roland had preached on the Women Liberation Movement Saturday night, that the males have to love us unconditionally too. Roland said that its understandable that many of the ladies would complain about being totally submissive regardless if its right or wrong.

To that, its comes under Sunday's sermon. Where Elder Tong Meng shared about the power of the spoken words. Every little thing that we spoke contain power. Therefore we should do the part of a loving wife, and pray for your husband or any male in your life that they will be Christ-like and love you back unconditionally.

For "when we speak in faith, God will lead us and honor our words".

However, we have to be careful of what we say with our lips. Life and Death is in the power of the tongue, causing words that we spoke to have eternal consequences.

like how Jesus told the disciples to speak to the mountain...

ok... i don't know what to say already... oh oh, i fell off the table yesterday in the youthroom and injured myself... what hurts now is the hip part and the ribcage cause after i fall off the table, i whack the table with my body... so it's like bruised now...

I remember being in an Aussie project grp with alot of babes..esp one of the girls..super gorgeous la..smart..trained ballerina (without the big legs)straight brown hair..loves to party and dance.. and gorgeous la...at first i was like: wahh..why am i not like___?.A bit sulky and infact cuz she got all the attention i started to have thoughts like this chick is so vain la, dao la, thinks he so great la..Resentful without even knowing it.

But i got over it..in fact her personality was one that cuz she got her way so often that people find it hard to work with her in a team. You're prolly thinking? eh bel,why u jealous for, u're ok too what?

And so, i pose the same question back to any of us who feel less than at any time be it superficially or skillfully or intellectually..

just credit others where credit is due and work at your strengths..Eventually, in that group because beauty was everywhere and every one was like ang mo-hot anyway..i just worked my personality out..hung out with them, cracked lotsa jokes,complimented them, made them eat weird stuff, did their makeup for the presentations..listened to everyones ideas and did kick-ass work..and we became such pals..even with the super hot chick cuz we were just all comfy in our skin.And we all had a common target of getting the job done well! We were rated best team dynamics at the end of the day and the lecturer said i was a very mature team worker. HAHA ..mature is so not me.. So God will always come through and totally multiply your contentment when you choose to say thats hot..this is what i rock at so rock on Jia you! Kamate! Be content and thankful and He will love to give you more.

Flaws? yes.. we have heaps.. but we're so mega blessed..have u seen 3/4 of the world out there..???? Our YA is like top 10% tile already n still we always want more.
its all about using what we have:) if we can't manage what we have and who we are why would more be added unto us? in fact its usually taken away:( AHHHHH

Like fair skin..u dont take care of it and try to get a tan all the time u get freckly or weird burnt skin.. boohoo

So put sun screen and remember that we're all genuinely blessed like crazy so work those assets girls!

Tada!!

Yeh! My 1st paper was over! I thought i couldnt make it for it. Due to the reason that i only managed to sort of finish my whole revision until this morning, which afternoon was my paper. >''> Rather worried while waiting outside the examination room though. Kinda feel like so incompletely 'armed' with the armours for exam.

Well but all the Praises to the Lord! The paper turned out to be rather simple, as compared to those supplementary past year papers that gave me a cold sweat. Thank you for all the prayers and care! XD Not to forget, there will be 2 more papers on the coming week too~ Gambatte!

With reference of our cell on Tuesday, I'll give my part on "getting involved in ministry" as discussed.

Worship - Involve
I'm not a worship leader. I do my part to praise and worship God. Between myself and God.

Fellowship - Involve
I care for my fellow cell mates, not that I'm nosey, but I hope I can be there for them if needed.

Growth - Involve
I grow only through services and cell meetings. I don't learn anything myself. I know I'm lack of self discipline.

Service - Involve
The only talent of myself I used for church so far is for the New Comers' Party. Not a leader obviously.

Accountability - Involve
I'm not too sure about that. But I talk to God about many things that I don't talk to people about.

Church to me is extremely important. That's number 5 by the way.
I think that if the whole world turn against you, your church won't. =)

What I see now is, a source of encouragement and people that I look up to. But I have not given them the authority to take control of me yet.

ello i'm back! yay... together with a mild sore throat and sunburnt body.. haha... i'm so so so tired but its good to wake up and read all your blog entries...

the camp was ok... God blessed the facilitators with aircon bunks to sleep for most of the days so yay! but the rest of it was a bit chaotic... thank God that i managed to survive the kayaking on the second day with less than 30 minutes of sleep the previous day in west coast macs... and the constant meeting with our horrible insect kingdom frens.... YUCK! the thought of it makes me scared... must pray for me that i don't get dengue...

i'm sorry to say that there was really no breakfree influence cos the activities were so ongoing that i hardly have enough time to breathe... haha... but i did say things like "yay! thank God for the weather" and stuff and good friendships were fostered...

anyway, my main computer is down cos it's being attacked by this "one in a million chance of getting it" virus and it's sent for servicing... that's pretty much why i'm still a frog... hahaha... good news is that i finally went to do the msn thingy (many thanks to perline).... it's musical_orange@yahoo.com but the bad news, since my main com is down and this weird laptop can't download msn, i can't chat... but i guess you all can add me first... okie hee hee cya all at cell!

Anyway, the fasting was quite alright for me, despite of one of the days I've let myself slack a little and grab a bite thrice a day due to the craving ==" Temptations are everywhere in school, especially the sumptous wan ton mee in canteen and omelette rice in food court! T______T 34 days count down!!!!

Oh btw, yesterday my mum gave me a shock. She told me that she could sense a quite big lump on her chest. @@ Same thing is happening to my mum as my grandmother had also gotten that recently as i told you all last time. ><

So i better get myself serious with God and really pray hard for the health of my mum as this is the divine season of his visitation and manifestation of his great power. I have to believe that God will heal and prayer changes everything ^^ i love mummy!!!!!

Its friday today and my common test has just ended! I thank all of you for the fervent prayers, anf yup 1st of my 2 papers went well. But today's one... T__T Didnt went smooth for me, for my classmates as well. LOL, we thought that it the standard of the common test isnt that high actually, but it turned out the other way *Sighs*

Nevertheless, God is still good and i believe that i'll get grades that are not too bad,i'd tried my best and hope that it does glorify God's name! <3

I came to realize that Yi Lin and Winnie haven posted any entry yet.. hohohohoho~

Anyway, I'm back from doc.. And I'm to go back on Sat.. Doc ask me not to eat peanuts, drink cold drinks, and most of all, not to walk around.. ZzzzZzzz..

Overall I felt more secured within me after i've seeked a doc.. Cuz my mum was scaring me about some illness that's concerning swollen leg.. --. huhuhu~

Doc said it was actually a small injury but i dragged it.. She can't treat it now due that its too swollen.. It hurt even only when she applied light force on it.. Its wrapped now anyway.. My precious leggie.. *cries*

I was wondering...... Can I sit on a chair during Y.A service? HEHEHEHE

it's mid week!!! i'm like rejoicing cause 2 more days and it's weekends... hahahah... well, this week came as a POW! for me lah... all the test and projects and all... kinda overwhelming... hahahha

but anyways, i woke up and switch on my laptop and read BeL's post & email... it's really awesome... like in primary school, people use to call me a TOUGH COOKIE... like a real tough one... ahhaha

cause i always hangout with boys... the girls in my class hated me because i hangout with boys(how childish)... and like if all your friends are boys, and all your siblings are boys, naturally you will be a lil' boyish and like tough...

i used to laugh at those Gu-Niang girls... like so weak like tofu... recognise that it's the past lah... after i got to secondary school... a girl school... all i see is girls GIRLS and more girls... hahah... then i finally get to understand girls better...

how wierd huh?

i realise like what the Habitudes book say, God created us all different... i mean like everyone knows lah... but it's so cool to know that God is just so creative to come up with humans of all shapes and sizes with billions of names and of different languages... hahaha

anyways, after reading the email and post i feel that i need to add on something...

let's imagine we are all books...

whether thick or thin, big or small...

you know so many times, peole will "judge a book by it's cover"... like at a bookstore or library, if the cover of the book is attractive and colourful and nice, people will pick them up and read it...

but sometimes, books with attractive cover don't have SUBSTANCE...
either the story very boring or it makes no sense lah...

so the COVER is like our appearance... our hair, the clothes we wear etc etc...

like how some girls look so pretty and all but their "inside" is so disgusting... they have no character and no personality... haha

my dream is to see all of us be girls with STYLE & SUBSTANCE

we must look good and have great personality and character... our 90% of the ice berg must be strong =)

AHHHHHHHH

I so so so wanted to learn how to bake cookies and cake.. But I'm lack of an oven.. Really.. I aspire to bake my cookies and mini cakes and sell it online.. woots~ But that dream seems so far away (for now)..

Anyway, its finalized that I've sprained my leg.. That's why it hurts so much.. I didn't even realize its a sprain..

So pain ahhh.. I'll go see doc either later or tomorrow..

I want to be strong and hardy but yet soft on the inside so that I can be sensitive to all needs around me..

Like DURIAN, hardy on the outside but its so soft and nice on the inside.. Speaking about the strong smell (like the aura) too.. Haha.. *drools*

Recently some one called me a tough cookie.

Strong and hard yet fragile

at first im like???

But

Dependin on how we look at it it sounds both strong n weak.

But I choose to sieve out the strength and work on the weakness.

Strong n hard-y

I pray that for each of you, whether u are loud or soft or timid you can ALL be strong and hardy

Resistent to the storms and horrors that life throws at you

More importantly when we make mistakes we're strong enough to face it,

stand up and move on.

Life doesnt quite stop even when we feel like making it.

Fragile

This sounds bad

But hey it can be a good thing

We do need to be fragile and sensitive to the voice of God..

We have to have a broken heart when we see the needs of people

Just like God's heart breaks when He looks around at all who are far from Him

The only thing is we got to only have a "fragile" heart to the Holy Spirit and not to men and their words. If not we'll always be hurt:(

I pray this for all of you. That this cell might not be the most vocal or amazing to the human eye

But it will be filled with inner strength , character and good works accompanying the faith that we each have. You all might not see it yet but i really believe that for each of you.. can one!!!

If i this kind of gu-niang looking kuan can be pushin hard...u girls will be pushing even harder..not becuz ppl ask u too but cuz u know God and between u n Him nothing else can come in between. I speak this in faith.

Life is hard n filled with troubles n persecution but with each challenge the bible says

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.. and we've been given

A portion of faith to look to the provider of all Our Needs!

He's our provider, healer, banner(in the war), comforter, refuge, friend , righteousness.

What do u need or lack today?
Look to Him and claim the promise
And in every point of decision ..choose to do the Right thing.

Yield to our King and tap on His grace which is Sufficient for us.

2 Corinthians 12:9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

So really its quite cool to be weak;)
